Features: Fabricated from high-tensile, tin-plated aluminium alloy fitted with brass or aluminium alloy shear-off bolts. Features an internal center-stop barrier and comes pre-loaded with conductive jointing compound to prevent oxidation. The torque-controlled shear bolts guarantee uniform contact force and reliable electrical conductivity without risking damage to the conductor, requiring only a standard socket spanner or wrench rather than specialized crimping equipment.
Applications: Ideal for intermediate in-line jointing and transition splicing between copper, aluminium, or aluminium-alloy conductors in medium-voltage power distribution systems.
